AQS™ × Commercial Risk Matrix
Adviser AQS™ vs practice AQS™ (“commercial risk”) · March 2026 snapshot
The Adviser Quality Score™ - for REs and RSEs
BT Panorama partner trial · estimated Nightingale data · private & confidential
This is a trial preview. You can explore the AQS × Commercial Risk matrix and read the accompanying white paper for Responsible Entities (REs) and Registrable Superannuation Entities (RSEs). Aggregate counts and percentages are shown for every platform, but adviser-level detail is intentionally limited while in trial.
- Adviser, practice and licensee names appear only for BT Panorama advisers, and only in the four lower-quality "watch-zone" cells (AQS D or F by practice score D or F) - up to 4 advisers per cell.
- Licensee search, the 4-year quarterly trend and the unrated-licensee list are disabled during the trial.
- Full adviser-level detail, search and history are available on subscription.

Disclaimers
Cadence. AQS ratings are produced quarterly and will move to monthly from August 2026.
Coverage. All current licensees on the ASIC Financial Advisers Register are searchable. Those not yet rated appear as “Unrated” (rating pending due to timing, licensee terminated or liquidated since the March update, under review or on watch by the Ratings Committee). We do not rate time share licensees or their advisers.
Score movement. Removing (“jettisoning”) lower-rated advisers can mathematically improve a licensee’s score; movements should be read with that in mind.
Methodology under review. The AQS Ratings Committee is currently evaluating methodology as well as new datasets to display and/or incorporate into the AQS™ as part of its ongoing review, including new data being made available by risk agencies.
Platform data (modelled). The primary platform data point is an estimate based on Adviser Ratings’ internal modelling. Due to different data-tenancy environments and contractual elements, while we endeavour to provide as accurate an estimate as possible, use of data inside Nightingale is contained. The AQS platform will let you manage your portfolio of advisers and practices separately, outside the domain of Adviser Ratings’ Nightingale database.
Reliance. The AQS™ is a composite of multiple data inputs. While every endeavour is made to keep data current and practices up to date, scores may not reflect the most recent circumstances and should not be solely relied upon. Scores are indicative and provided for general information only; Adviser Ratings accepts no liability for any decision taken in reliance on this tool.
